ASC offers participants access to photography, painting, music, yoga, and breathwork as part of a structured therapeutic schedule.
These programs support self-expression, emotional regulation, and personal growth. Donations help us expand access by funding art materials, digital cameras, sewing supplies, musical instruments, and trained facilitators. Our horticultural therapy program—where clients cultivate gardens and develop job skills—is also growing. Funding will support new outdoor teaching spaces, potting benches, sheds, and garden expansion to create additional pathways to employment.
Every dollar supports long-term healing beyond clinical care.

Evidence shows that healing environments reduce behavioral crises, increase treatment engagement, and lead to better long-term outcomes. But most mental health facilities remain sterile, outdated, and uninspiring.
This project isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about building a system that works. A space where recovery feels possible, people feel safe, and healing becomes sustainable. We’re showing California and the country that you don’t have to rebuild from scratch to create something revolutionary.
